My father, Orhan, was a lawyer with the Turkish government’s transport department, which has an employees’ lokanta (restaurant) in Ortaköy, ?stanbul, with mesmerising views of the Bosphorus. I have very fond memories of enjoying tavuk ?i? with my family there.
